I did not begin my academic journey as an economics student. As I delved deeper into the field, I recognized the limitations of my earlier work. However, I continuously challenged myself, pushing the boundaries of my knowledge and environment. I took the initiative to teach myself methods that were less common in my immediate academic circle and explored topics that sparked my curiosity.

I realized that empirical research alone was insufficient. Despite my limited knowledge of dynamic programming at the time, I built my first optimal control model using Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics as a guide. This project reflected my commitment to independently deepening my understanding of economics.
